Have you ever doodled just to decompress or just because you were bored?  Did you ever look at the drawing or pattern you created and smile? If you answered yes to either question, it’s time to take your skills and relaxation a step further next month.

Join teacher, Sallee Lowery, at 10:30 on Thursday, May 13th for an in person, outdoor, art lesson at North Park, Inverness Park District. Participants will be creating botanical patterns from simple lines and placing those patterns in a cube they can feature in their own homes.  Supplies will be provided for the cost of $12.

The lesson is limited to 10 GCI members. Save your spot and send your check to Sallee Lowery at 1517 Broadway Ct., Wheeling, IL 60090. Checks must be received by May 7th.

Feel free to email me with any questions or concerns. Each participant must bring her own lawn chair and refreshment. In consideration of the park district staff, our guest instructor, as well as your fellow GCI members, please abide by and adhere to the CDC safety guidelines for masks and social distancing (6 feet). Everyone has to wear a mask in order to enter the building and use the restroom.  

A rain date is the following day, Friday, May 14th at the same time. Spring has arrived. Let’s tap our creative side once again and create floral designs from simple lines.
